This design started with quick sketches, some folded gum wrappers, and a desire to create a kinetic accessory. I worked with a small team made up of two other designers and a model to create the final outcome which we named 'Falcon Fancy', constructed almost completely out of paper.
The design was inspired by the regal tradition of falconry and by the natural beauty of the birds of prey. As an added sensation on the runway, the model was able to control to flapping movement of the bird’s mechanical wings.
